An Artistic Journey
LeRoy Jepson’s journey as an artist began in elementary school, where he felt an immediate and natural affinity for drawing whenever he picked up a pencil. By 1973, he entered college, and his professors quickly recognized his remarkable talent, encouraging him to pursue independent projects to nurture his advanced abilities.
Drawing soon became his constant companion, whether he was sketching candid moments in everyday life or transforming photographs into expressive graphic pencil portraits.
For over six decades, drawing has been more than a passion—it’s the thread that weaves together his identity as an artist, fueling both his personal fulfillment and his contributions to the creative community.
